Proving old dogs thrive on new tricks with Chateau Morrisette.
After 30 years in business as one of Virginia’s premier wineries, Chateau Morrisette needed a fresh approach to their identity. We created a new foundation for the brand with a new logo and identity, while staying true to the brand’s heritage by featuring Hans, the owner’s beloved black lab. We then developed a labeling system showcasing the entire family of wines with hand-drawn and water-colored art, in keeping with their tradition of incorporating original art on their labels. The consistency across the updated labels creates a poster board effect on shelf and reinforces the breadth of the Chateau Morrisette wine family with consumers.
